You'll experience the full spectrum of mixed animal practice. Half of your caseload will focus on cattle—both beef and dairy, which are vital to the area's agricultural heritage—while the other half involves small animals, with occasional cases involving horses and small ruminants. Whether you're in the field or the clinic, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of the community's animals and their owners.
The clinic is modern and thoughtfully designed to accommodate a diverse caseload. It provides a spacious environment equipped with digital X-ray, in-house labs, and a fully outfitted surgical suite. For complex orthopedic cases, a board-certified surgeon is on hand to deliver expert care.
Clinic hours are from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with flexible scheduling options such as four-day workweeks or part-time arrangements. Weekend on-call duties occur every third weekend, with emergency calls averaging only one per weekend, making after-hours work manageable.
The compensation package is designed to reflect your expertise and dedication. A base salary along with a production bonus, additional benefits include PTO, licensing fee coverage, and a continuing education budget to support your professional development.
