Your Role
The CTS business controller will be a partner supporting the respective Business Controller and will be responsible for reviewing performance of CTS business.
Roles and Responsibilities |
- Be part of the Business Control and Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting.
- Assist in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of accounting data and financial reports
- Perform analysis of financial and non-financial key performance indicators, report on trends and make recommendation on improving analysis performance.
- Review gross profit of CTS regularly in order to identify and help resolve potential issues
- Review Adjustments to COGS of CTS to explain variances, trends, provide guidance to regions and management.
- Calculate Service Variance and standard cost per hour.
- Design and implement systems/procedures to capture financial/statistical data as needed and test process improvement within ERP.
- Support testing of reporting changes or process improvement within the ERP system or within the organization
- Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.
- Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
To succeed, you will need
Experience |
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in business control or finance and business administration.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems is required, experience with SAP Finance & Accounting module is preferred.
- Prefer experience of finance and business control according to the "The Way We Do Things".
Education |
4 Year degree (B.S. or B.A.) in accounting or finance, or strong proven record in equivalent accounting experiences within Atlas Copco.
CMA, MBA and/or CPA a plus
Skills |
- Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to adapt skills to a wide variety of changing analytical situations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent computer aptitude specifically in the area of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experienced in using computerized accounting and financial reporting systems - (SAP BPC a plus) and ERP system (SAP a plus)
- Must demonstrate initiative and innovation in problem solving and anticipating business needs.
- Must have a strong desire to succeed in a very dynamic environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple concurrent projects with resiliency, work hours as required to get the job done,
Travel

- Up to 5% travel - travel independently and in some cases overseas travel required
