Job Opportunity: Business Controller at Ceres

Reports to: Ceres General Manager
About the Role:
Join Ceres as a Business Controller and support our General Manager with strategic financial insights. You'll be part of the leadership team, driving business growth and ensuring financial stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnership:
- Provide decision support to the GM and leadership team.
- Lead financial analysis and insights for production efficiency and growth.
- Translate business initiatives into financial projections.
- Ensure accurate measurement of financial KPIs.
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights.
- Lead target setting and forecast updates.
- Support Capex evaluation and ensure investment standards.
- Implement new systems for efficient management information.
- Manage a small IT team and oversee the Encompix ERP system.
Financial Control:
- Lead the finance team to deliver accurate reports.
- Provide insights on deviations from forecasts.
- Evaluate and forecast margin development.
- Ensure balance sheet integrity and compliance with standards.
- Focus on accounts receivable, cash management, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory and tax regulations.
- Oversee financial controls and processes, including payroll.
- Expand cooperation with the Global Business Solutions Centre.
- Ensure statutory reporting, audit, and tax requirements are met.
- Drive projects to enhance efficiency and leverage advanced technologies.
Other Duties:
- Train and coach direct reports.
- Manage insurance and benefit renewals.
- Promote health and safety for all personnel and visitors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Finance or related field.
- Qualified accountant with demonstrable sucessful experience in manufacturing.
- Experience in controlling and business development in an international organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and BPC.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of revenue models.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive approach to driving change.
- Fluent in English.
- Local Plus conditions will apply for this role as required.
