Global Supply Chain Director

Job Description

At Atlas Copco, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Supply Chain Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our supply chain operations in the US, ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Lead a team of logistics and procurement specialists to manage inventory, shipping, and receiving operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of improving supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP systems, supply chain planning software, and other relevant tools.
