This role reports directly to the Production Manager and works onsite at our Atlas Copco-Air Way Systems Grayling, MI facility. This role will be responsible for accurately marking, labeling, and applying coatings to parts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. This position will also be asked to help in other assembly areas as time permits.

Are you our Parts Finishing Technician?

This role will be responsible for accurately marking, labeling, and applying coatings to parts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. Here’s How You’ll Make An Impact
- Prepare surfaces and apply black oxide coatings to parts.
- Perform precision marking and labeling on parts using laser engraving machine.
- Ensure markings comply with technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Set-up, operate and troubleshoot marking and coating equipment following proper safety procedures.
- Inspect coated and marked parts to verify uniformity, adherence and quality standards.
- Sort, move and route coated and marked parts following proper workflow procedures.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Assist in other assembly areas as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing or production environment desired.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Team-oriented and a keen understanding of the importance of following safety protocols.
