Job Title: Summer Intern - Engineering
Location: Houston, Texas
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Internship Overview:
The Engineering intern will support key technical projects within the department, focusing on documentation and CAD data management.
Responsibilities:
Assist in reviewing and updating Installation, Operation, and Maintenance (IOM) manuals to reduce backlog and improve documentation accuracy
Support the creation and organization of Product Data Management (PDM) files for the CAD library
Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate technical documentation and CAD file management
Maintain records and track progress on document revisions and updates
Assist with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree within Engineering or a related field from an accredited university
Must be at least 18 years of age
Experience or coursework in CAD software (Solid Edge or SolidWorks) or PDM systems
Strong attention to detail and technical writing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
