About the Company:
Atlas Dog Training is a leading boarding and training company in Western MA specializing in providing top-quality training services to dogs of all breeds and ages. We are devoted to helping owners understand and communicate with their dogs effectively and are looking for a dedicated individual to join our small team of 3-4 full time trainers. Previous training experience welcome but not required. Trainers must come with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn our balanced training system.
Responsibilities:
- Obedience training and behavior modification for all types of pet dogs
- Update owners on training progress
- Kennel cleaning
- General dog care (feed, water, administer medication, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Responsible and self-motivated
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
- Reliable transportation/attendance
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
- Morning shift availability required (7am-3pm), Wednesday-Sunday(Full-time)
Compensation:
- $16/hr apprenticeship rate (increases to $25/hr after completion of 6-12 month apprenticeship)
- 401k match
