Job Overview

As a Local Fleet Driver, your primary responsibility will be transporting sand using bottom-drop trailers within a 100-150-mile radius. This is a full-time role that emphasizes adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance, making it ideal for candidates who value professionalism in their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a 2022 Mack automatic day cab truck equipped with bottom-drop trailers on specified local routes.
• Conduct scheduled pick-ups and timely deliveries of sand to designated locations.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
• Maintain compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations, including hours of service and logbook management.
• Uphold all safety procedures and operational guidelines outlined by Atlas Energy.
• Accurately complete all necessary documentation, including trip logs and delivery receipts.
  
  

Required Skills

• Valid CDL Class A driver's license.
• Endorsements for Doubles and/or Triples.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a Class A commercial vehicle.
• Strong comprehension of FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 23 years of age at the time of employment.
• Successful completion of a background check and an FMCSA-approved driving assessment.
• A clean driving record with a review of Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) to mitigate safety risks.
• Registration with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse is required.
• Reliable transportation to one of the four pick-up locations is necessary.

Compensation And Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from \(75,000 - \)80,000 per year.
• A pay model that allows for earnings of approximately \(3,000-\)3,200 gross biweekly via a 30% pay-per-trip structure.
• Flexible work schedule of 6 days on, 1 day off, 6 days on, followed by 8 days off, with rotating shifts.
• Free housing while on shift, along with a paid phone allowance of $18.46 per pay period.
