What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydrovac Truck Operator position at Atlas Excavating, Inc.?

Due to continued growth, Atlas is seeking an experienced Hydrovac Operator to utilize high-pressure water and vacuum systems to precisely and efficiently locate, excavate, and trench underground utilities, infrastructure and pipelines on various project sites. This position will also prepare and ensure safety measures and address any potential hazards in and around the truck, conduct routine inspections/maintenance of hydrovac equipment, and complete daily inspection reports. The ideal individual must be dedicated to being part of a safety-focused culture.
Requirements of the position include:
Member of the Operators Union.
Valid Class A or B CDL drivers license.
Possess a current DOT medical certificate.
Successfully complete Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle, and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks.
Subject to pre-employment and random drug screens.
Previous experience with hydro work preferred.
Must be able to lift/push/pull 30 pounds and perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.
Currently possess or be able to timely complete OSHA 10-hour Certification.
Ability and knowledge to perform maintenance and repair in accordance with all regulations and requirements
.Must be 21 years of age.
