What are the responsibilities and job description for the Investment Analyst position at Atlas Financial Partners Llc?
The Investment Analyst position is responsible for assisting the Operations Team in the administration of our client’s stable value contracts. Operational aspects include, but are not limited to, daily reporting, investment performance monitoring, monthly statement generation, ad hoc reporting, investment analysis, and miscellaneous projects.
Responsibilities:
This role will focus on meeting client deliverables with the use of automated reporting tools and vendor-based solutions. Core areas of focus are daily/monthly reporting, investment analysis, client documentation, system testing and input.
DAILY/MONTHLY REPORTING:
- Generate and analyze daily risk management and audit reports
- Create monthly client statements
- Provide necessary reporting to support insurance carriers, administrators and partners
INVESTMENT ANALYSIS:
- Track and monitor portfolio performance relative to the benchmark stated in the investment policy statement
- Assist with quarterly credit rate calculations
- Effectively communicate investment performance and crediting rate information to necessary constituents
CLIENT DOCUMENTATION
- Generate all necessary agreements and supporting documents specific to each client’s account
- Maintain all document templates, ensuring the latest versions are utilized
SYSTEM TESTING & INPUT:
- Provide user acceptance testing on system enhancements and fixes
- Identify future enhancements and efficiencies
Qualifications
- Strong financial report writing and analysis skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VBA
- Experience with financial modeling
- Knowledge of investment banking and corporate accounting
- Ability to conduct thorough research and quantitative analysis
- Understanding of investment and financial concepts
