What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager I - CL position at Atlas Insurance Agency?
Duties:
Administrative Processes and Documentation Management
- Generates schedules and new and renewal proposals as outlined in the Proposal Guidelines.
- Develops renewal questionnaires based on the most current information.
- Updates spreadsheets and Excel schedules as needed.
- Enters/updates information in agency and document management system, including policy coverages, exclusions, special endorsements, and restrictions/limitations.
- Processes simple endorsements and refers complicated endorsement requests to the Account Manager.
- Processes cancellations.
- Processes audits and generates/sends letters to clients for large audit changes and/or for large clients.
- Initiates invoicing activities for all transactions including pre-billing of automatic renewals.
- Enters and generates for modmaster analysis.
- Sets up master certificates and provides instructions for issuance of certificates and auto ID cards.
Client Servicing and Support
- Assists Account Managers with allocations.
- Pulls loss runs and complete premium loss summaries as needed.
- Performs review of policies and endorsements.
- Transmits policies and endorsements to clients.
- Assists in handling renewals and servicing of commercial accounts.
- Prepares summaries of insurance and schedules as needed and in accordance with agency procedures.
- Maintains follow-up/suspense files on outstanding tasks and follow-up on overdue items.
- Routinely reviews exception reports and aging reports and takes necessary action to properly address items.
- Maintains files, records, and personal workspace in an orderly, current manner.

Qualifications:
- High school or general education (GED) degree required; college degree highly desired.
- An equivalent combination of education and job-related experience will be considered.
