Summary:
Supports Independent Agents and/or House Accounts with minimal supervision. Assists clients with their policies via phone, email inquiry or walk in. Accurately and promptly submits endorsement and cancellation material to insurance companies in accordance with each carrier’s requirements. Accurately and promptly enters new business, endorsement and cancellation policy data into the Agency Management System in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Processes transactions in a professional manner that minimizes Atlas’ Errors and Omissions exposure.
Duties:
Client Transactions Management
Receives and processes client endorsement and cancellation requests accurately and promptly.
Accurately and promptly enters rewritten, renewal, endorsement, and cancellation policy data into agency management system.
Accurately and promptly submits renewal, endorsement, and cancellation material to insurance companies following their requirements.
Processes transactions in a professional manner to minimize Errors and Omissions exposure.
Assists other team members to meet agency, team, and individual goals.
Knowledge and Expertise in Insurance Operations
Maintains knowledge of coverages, explains to clients, and interprets coverage forms.
Stays knowledgeable and up to date on rates, forms, and coverage changes.
Maintains insurance manuals (rules, rates, procedures).
Knowledge of different carrier portals and how to use them.
Professional Development and Team Collaboration
Participates in seminars and classes for knowledge and professional development.
Participates in continuous education/learning focused on personal lines/insurance.
Possesses a positive, service-oriented attitude towards agencies, insureds, and company employees.
Actively collaborates with team members, contributes to meetings and projects, and fosters a positive, cooperative team environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; college degree preferred.
2 to 3 years related experience required.
Equivalent combination of education, training or related work experience will be considered.
Property & Casualty Solicitors License required or must obtain within 30 days.
CPCU, CIC or other Property/Casualty designations preferred.
Valid Hawaii Driver’s License and use of own vehicle preferred.
Salary : $40,000 - $55,000
