We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Insurance Jr. Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing insurance policies, assisting clients with their insurance needs, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This position requires strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to provide exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the Account Manager's book of business by providing timely and efficient support to clients.
Respond to client inquiries, gather necessary information, and ensure client needs are addressed.
Communicate with clients to provide updates on policy renewals, claims, and other service requests.
Prepare and review policy documents, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other insurance-related materials.
Process new business applications, renewals, policy changes, and other administrative tasks.
Assist clients with the claims process by providing guidance and ensuring that claims are promptly reported and tracked.
Review and verify the accuracy of policy details and endorsements.
Assess client needs and help identify appropriate coverage solutions.
Work with producers to evaluate risk and ensure that clients have proper coverage in place.
Stay informed about coverage updates and changes to help clients make informed decisions.
Update and maintain client records in the Agency Management System, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
Prepare proposals, reports, and other documentation as needed.
Track and follow up on open items and ensure deadlines are met.
Participate in training and development activities to improve knowledge of the insurance industry and enhance customer service skills.
Learn to handle increasingly complex client needs and take on more responsibility over time.
Various projects and duties as assigned.
Required Skills and abilities:
Licensing: 2-20 license required (or must obtain within a specified time frame).
Experience: 6 months of experience in the insurance industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage clients and internal teams effectively.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Great attitude and willingness to learn.
