Organization:
We are seeking highly qualified individuals to join our team, supporting programs as a Federal Contractor within the U.S. Department of State, USAID, or other U.S. Foreign Affairs Agencies. Our work involves managing critical programs that advance U.S. national interests and strengthen relationships with partner nations. We are looking for a number (Approx 10) of bright, enthusiastic, experienced former Foreign Service, Civil Service or Contract Employees at the mid to senior levels.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full program lifecycle, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of country specific or regional programs.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including U.S. government agencies, foreign governments, and non-governmental organizations.
- Monitor program performance and ensure compliance with U.S. government regulations and policies.
- Prepare reports and briefings for senior leadership.
- Provide programmatic support to U.S. Embassies and Consulates, potentially including overseas assignments.
- When not on overseas assignment, work full-time in our Rosslyn, VA office.
- International travel is required.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Mid-level: 5 years of program management experience.
- Senior-level: 10 years of program management experience.
- Experience working with the U.S. Department of State, USAID, or other U.S. Foreign Affairs Agencies is strongly preferred.
- Experience with federal contracts as either a program manger or a contracting officers representative a plus.
- Experience working on programs related to the Western Hemisphere is highly desirable.
- Experience working at a U.S. Embassy or within a Department bureau (e.g., Western Hemisphere Affairs) is a plus.
- Management Cone and Functional Bureau Experience also a plus.
- Language:
- Spanish language proficiency is preferred.
- Clearance:
- Active security clearance is preferred.
- Must have held a security clearance within the last 5 years.
- Passport:
- Must possess a valid U.S. passport with at least six (6) months of validity remaining.
- Skills:
- Strong program management skills, including experience with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
