What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at Atlas Organics?
We are looking for a Laborers to join the team in San Antonio, TX! The Laborer will be responsible for directing customers to unload yard debris at the landfill.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist Equipment Operators with various tasks.
- Ensure a neat and safe work environment at the landfill.
- Direct traffic at the working face.
- Perform random load checks.
- Communicate with the scale house on a regular basis.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
- One year of previous relevant work experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects more than 30 pounds frequently.
- Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Normal setting is outdoors; Will be exposed to outside weather environments, dirt, odors, weather extremes and high levels of noise regularly.
