Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Controls Programmer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining automated systems.
Key Areas of Knowledge:
- Develop and implement programming for various automation systems
- Design and configuration of PLC, SCADA, HMI & DCS systems
- Conduct root cause analysis on system failures or inefficiencies, providing actionable solutions to improve performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and integrate automation solutions.
- Knowledge of engineering including electrical systems, mechanics, pneumatics, and industrial programming preferred
- Prepares operating instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and other documentation for project deliverables.
- Prepare and submit documents as part of project fulfillment including but not limited to instrument specifications, electrical package submittals, procurement system transmittals and client follow ups.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Automation relation field required.
- 3-5 years experience in Oil / Gas, Manufacturing, Wastewater, Water, Food & Beverage
- Drug Free work environment
- Valid Driver's license and ability to travel without restrictions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and detail-oriented mindset
- Availability to Travel up to 25% overnight
- Work is completed in hybrid work environments, in office with the team, occasionally from home, and in the field.
