Outside Sales Account Manager

Job Overview :

As an Account Manager, you will be working across industries to provide outstanding Operational Technology related services and products. You could be working on opportunities for assembly lines, Oil and Gas, datacenters, food and beverage, building automation, pharmaceutical and more! The role will require excellence as an individual contributor as well as working as part of a larger team.

Salary expectations are based dependent on definable success, contact list, and reputation. An unlimited cap commission structure based on gross revenue, tiered by level of engagement. Salary and commission structure are negotiable.

Key Areas of Knowledge :

  • Utilize consultative selling skills identify key trends, uncover customer needs, and leverage industry knowledge to find and close sales opportunities.
  • Technical / Engineering Consultative Sales experience in Industrial, Manufacturing or other critical industries
  • B2B Business Development and Relationship management
  • Outbound Sales, lead Generation and prospecting including Cold Calling, emails and events
  • Event Management and Coordination
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to meet customer needs
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide support as needed
  • Monitor customer accounts and ensure satisfaction
  • Track and report customer data, sales performance, and other metrics
  • Help facilitate with proposal development, project execution and overall customer satisfaction

Automation and Controls for all your Operational Technology needs. RTU, PLC, Flow Computer, SCADA and DCS system design, procurement, programming and support. Control Panel and VFD Panel Design, Procurement, Fabrication and testing with full service programming and integrated Factory Acceptance Testing. Managed SCADA hosting and services. Working with all major brands, Rockwell, Siemens, Opto22, Red Lion, Schneider and more. Supporting all industries including energy, manufacturing, food and beverage, water wastewater, building automation, oil and gas, renewable, pharmaceuticals and more.

Requirements

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of outside sales and / or B2B sales experience, with a preference in industrial or technical sales
  • Demonstrable industry contacts and relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and discipline teams effectively
  • Ability to project and account manage post sale to keep customers engaged and satisfied
  • Strong knowledge in marketing, CRMs, and event coordination
  • Drug Free work environment
  • Valid Driver's license and ability to travel without restrictions
  • Work is completed in hybrid work environments, in office with the team, occasionally from home, and in the field. Sales professionals are expected to work odd hours to be available to our clients, set up for events, attend breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, and travel for conferences and key customer engagements.
