Assistant Production Manager

Assist in all activities performed by installation supervisors and shop production manager.

Duties shall include but not be limited to:

· Assist superintendents with all facets of planning and execution of residential, commercial, and industrial projects including review of plans, shop drawings, material take offs and material and equipment staging.

· Assist with truck and equipment inspections each morning.

· Assist in oversite and enforcement of the company’s safety program in conjunction with Installation Supervisors and Production Manager.

· Monitor registrations, insurance, fuel stickers, drivers medical card statuses, yard equipment operator licenses, and any other required state/federal documents using Tatum’s Asset Software reporting.

· Assist with creating work orders and setting daily production expectations for all shops.

· Monitor shop production quality and labor hour utilization.

· Assist the purchasing department with inventory management and purchasing logistics.

· Update schedule to reflect status of “make Items” required for installation.

· Check the timesheets for accuracy and send to payroll for processing.

· Daily meetings with Superintendents and Production Manager to discuss current day/next day project statuses, material and equipment requirements, and staffing issues for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

$35.00/hr. After 90-day trial period, if a positive review is given, a company vehicle may be provided for travel to and from work only, and for any at work travel.
