What You’ll Do
- Supervise the job responsibilities, performance, and development of full time instructional coaches and Director of Teacher Pathways
- Conduct semi-annual performance evaluations, coordinate quarterly and on-the-job training, facilitate and lead regular team meetings, and foster a culture of feedback
- Lead in the creation of appropriate and regular development opportunities for new and veteran teachers
- Lead the professional development efforts for instructional staff during NSI, ASI and Atlas Professional Development Weeks
- Coordinates between: Principals, Chief of Schools, curriculum leads, instructional coaches to ensure clear and effective systems to track and evaluate teacher growth and development
- Responsible for the continued development of curriculum across three campuses for K-12 academic subjects
- Attend leadership work days, academic and central leadership team meetings
- Manages external subscriptions and partnerships as assigned, including: Amplify, I-Ready, Gradecam
- Work with Chief of Schools and Principals to further establish content and utilization of instructional rubric
- Ensures the integration of key methods identified by special services in teacher effectiveness
- Collaborates with Chief of Schools and Principals to leads instructional coaching meetings across campuses, executes vision of Chief of Schools and Principals
- Serves as an instructional coach for a targeted group of teachers
- Manages instructional dashboard, to include academic results and use of teacher rubric platform
- Responsible for providing coaching, support and feedback to instructional coaches
- Work with Principals to build out a quality professional development schedule to align with teacher needs
- Coordinate with external partners to ensure effective external professional development when assigned
- Work with Principals to evaluate curriculum effectiveness, needs for updating or changing, and make recommendations for new curriculum purchases
- Complete other related duties or tasks as assigned
Compensation & Schedule
- Salaried/Exempt
- Signing Bonus: $10,000, with a 3-year commitment (Required)
- Annual Salary Range: $92,700 - $110,510 (DOE)
- Full Time; Monday – Friday; Occasional evenings and weekends as needed

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field
- A minimum of 5 years teaching experience in urban education (K-12 schools)
- A minimum of 3 years of formal instructional coaching experience in urban education (K-12 schools)
- Demonstrated leadership experience and effectiveness with the development or implementation of curriculum
- Demonstrated ability to effectively coach, support and evaluate classroom teachers
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong ability to work across teams
- Have a proven history of ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual; Spanish & English
- Skilled in analyzing data to inform instructional practices and drive student achievement
- Proven track record of eliminating disparities in both academic and service opportunities for students
- Successful experience coaching and leading teachers through planned professional development and constructive feedback settings
Essential Job Functions
- Ability to be on-site daily during normal operating hours and the ability to fulfill occasional evening and weekends as necessary
- Ability to travel required trainings, conferences, and school visits as necessary
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, standing, and walking on a daily basis
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to abide by all policies and procedures of Atlas
