- Assists the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with local, state and federal standards and regulations, established facility policies and procedures and as may be directed by the Administrator and the Medical Director, to provide appropriate care.
- Develops, implements, and maintains a facility-wide infection prevention and control program.
