Atlas is seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning & Automation Engineer for the Meridian, Mississippi facility.
The Machine Learning & Automation Engineer will have a strong background in database management, machine learning, and SCADA systems. Must have experience with machine learning frameworks and Automation Ignition scripting experience along with programming languages such as Python, R, MS SQL and Oracle SQL. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize industrial processes and enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Machine Learning Frameworks: Proficiency with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Automation Ignition SCADA: Experience in writing and managing automation scripts within Ignition, including scripting for HMI/SCADA systems.
- Programming Languages: Strong programming skills in Python and R for data analysis, machine learning, and automation tasks. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, MS SQL and Oracle SQL is a must have.
- Database Management: Proficiency in MS SQL and Oracle SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Experience in developing data-driven solutions and automation in industrial settings is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Machine Learning & Automation Engineer Desirable Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with industrial automation and control systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for deploying machine learning models.
- Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of industrial automation and SCADA system integration.
Machine Learning & Automation Engineer Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, software engineering or electrical engineering or related field.
