Atlas Roofing Corporation is seeking a Sales Support Associate for our Molded Products division. This position can be located in any of the following locations: Byron Center - MI, Fond du Lac - WI, Gainesville - GA or Kansas City - KS
Sales Support Associate Position Summary
Primarily Supports the Industrial Sales segment through estimating, drawings, project management, and customer interface. Primary market segments include packaging, shape molded products, lost foam products, and various other Industrial/OEM products.
Sales Support Associate Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities(Other duties as assigned)
- Contribute to the overall success of the sales function by providing accurate and timely product quotes and/or drawings.
- Assist the customers by answering questions regarding products' performance, properties, etc. as necessary
- Participate in the overall customer service proposition by ensuring sales staff, customers, and operations has accurate information in order to process orders
- Maintain database of quotes, product drawings, estimates, and any other correspondence or documentation related to the customer and/or customer products
- Contact customers for additional information if/when needed to complete a quote or a drawing
- Work directly and indirectly with various functions to ensure quote and drawing accuracy including Sales, Accounting, Pricing, Customer Operations, Operations, and Marketing
- Assist with investigation of customer complaints and returns; take appropriate action to prevent recurrence when appropriate
- Provide support and information to sales force; work closely with sales force to service clients
- Strategize and discuss pricing parameters with sales representatives
- Crosstrain in other areas within Sales Support and Customer Operations
- Assist in implementing price increases accurately and completely if requested by Price Team
- Notify appropriate personnel internally when issues arise with pricing, non-conformities, etc.
- Maintain regular, predictable physical attendance
Sales Support Associate Skills and Abilities
- Computer literate with ability to effectively utilize Excel, Word, email, Power Point
- Strong AutoCAD skills preferred
- Ability to multitask and gather critical information for quoting from multiple databases
- Ability to learn quickly and retain a large amount of detail regarding customer and products
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to deal effectively with change
- Ability to communicate clearly (both verbal and written) to personnel from a variety of functional areas
- Ability to enter, manipulate and retrieve data from the computer
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of personnel
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Must be able to work well with many types of people and must be able to build good relationships with clients and with other members of the sales team
- Knowledge in PeopleSoft, SalesForce, Ignition, Qlik Sense and Microsoft Teams helpful
