Director of Quality Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Director of Quality to join our team at the Meridian, Mississippi facility. This leadership role involves ensuring our products meet high-quality standards, aligning with both internal requirements and regulatory compliance for safety and reliability. The Director will drive quality initiatives, overseeing the testing of materials and finished products across all Web Technologies facilities while promoting continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, implementation, and documentation of standardized quality and process control systems for the division.
- Support the standardization of SCADA system designs, including hardware and software.
- Establish operational guidelines and reporting standards for quality metrics and control systems.
- Maintain current manufacturing and raw material specifications.
- Utilize key performance indicators to monitor performance, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Promote safety compliance throughout all processes and procedures.
- Assist Quality Managers with claims investigations and root cause analyses.
- Identify and prioritize quality and process improvement opportunities.
- Develop key performance indicators to track the progress of improvement initiatives.
- Coach employees on lean principles and methodologies.
- Contribute to capital expense plans and manage projects related to continuous improvement.
- Interact professionally with customers and suppliers to address product quality issues.
- This role may require travel to various plant sites (up to 50%).
