SUMMARY : The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a company's information technology operation, including managing IT staff, overseeing and directing the company's MSP (managed service provider), planning and implementing IT policies, ensuring the security and efficiency of IT systems, analyzing technology needs, and implanting strategic upgrades to support business goals while working closely with other IT professionals to support the organizations technology and infrastructure and protect against threats. Specifically, this role will be focused on establishing and managing an enterprise service desk; technology infrastructure management; and new clinic buildouts including wiring and the rack. This role will have a blend of corporate and field work and a blend of execution and management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Build and manage enterprise service desk
- Perform database backup and recovery operations
- Ensure data integrity and security through access controls and encryption
- Install, configure and manage systems, servers and network equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues.
- Maintain system documentation and provide user support
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats in conjunction with the MSP
- Construct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments in conjunction with the MSP
- Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems and anti-virus solutions in conjunction with the MSP
- Collaborate with other IT staff to integrate new technologies and improve system performance
- Provide technical support and training to end-users
- Participate in IT projects and contribute to the development of IT strategies
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
