This position is with a top Reinsurance Company looking to add a DevOps Manager who will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Microservices, Microsoft 365 SaaS, and Citrix Cloud.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive DevOps strategy aligned with organizational objectives and industry best practices
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of DevOps engineers, cultivating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation
Serve as a subject matter expert on DevOps best practices, offering expert guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated DevOps pipelines for building, testing, deploying, and monitoring digital and data applications
Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish CI / CD pipelines and automate deployment processes
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions and automate the provisioning of Azure services through Azure DevOps pipelines
Identify and prioritize automation opportunities in collaboration with business and IT teams
Document and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and configurations using version control systems
Develop system images, including but not limited to VDI, server, virtual machine (VM), and endpoint devices, ensuring proper drivers and firmware
Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments, with a focus on data protection and privacy
Provide Tier I / II / III support for application and cloud-related issues, including configuration, networking, performance, software bugs, and deployment failures
Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of containerized applications
Produce clear, concise technical documentation and disaster recovery (DR) runbooks, ensuring accuracy and clarity
