What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Room Nurse position at Atlas Search?
We are currently seeking Emergency Room Registered Nurses for a renowned university hospital system located in Camden, NJ. You will be tasked with providing providing immediate care to patients with a range of medical conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening illnesses. The base pay for this position is $65 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and / or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness
- Immediately stabilize incoming patients
- Administer medication as instructed by physicians
- Start intravenous lines, and set broken bones
- Perform tracheotomies and intubations
- Give patients stitches and sutures
- Create and maintain incoming patient records
