We are currently partnered with a fast-growing Biotech company that is seeking an Executive Director of Medical Affairs to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join an Oncology focused company with 1 FDA approved product on the market and new innovative studies in a robust pipeline.
In this role you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our company's medical affairs department. You will be responsible for providing medical and scientific leadership to support our product development and commercialization efforts. This role requires a combination of clinical expertise, regulatory experience, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to guide our organization in achieving its mission.
Responsibilities:
- Guide the development and alignment of Key Medical Objectives that will enable the larger Corporate Objective.
- Will be responsible for creating and periodic maintenance/update of all Medical Affairs’ related SOPs and Guidance documents
- Will directly manage Medical Director(s) and functional leads as outlined in the Medical Affairs organizational chart.
- Provides medical expertise, medical support and oversight and management to all Medical Affairs functions and reports.
Requirements:
- MD is required
- Minimum of 5-10 years Industry experience in Medical Affairs required.
- Prior Oncology or Urology experience highly preferred.
- Ability to travel 20-30% travel.
The annual base salary range is $280-320k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary : $280,000 - $320,000
