LPN

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide essential patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety. This role is critical in supporting patients in various settings, including occupational health, senior care, and critical care environments.

The base pay range for this position is $40 to $45 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care in structured & routine situations free of scientific complexity.
• Administration of treatments and routine tasks such as suctioning and urinary catheterizations.
• Preparation of patient for surgery, diagnostic tests, treatments, examinations.
• Administration of medications within scope of practice.
• Collects, labels and processes specimens accurately.
• Identification and set up of intravenous equipment and delivery of solutions for infusion through peripheral access devices
• Reports pertinent observations, treatments, medications, incidents & accidents associated with patients, to the Registered Professional Nurse & records same on appropriate documents with the format of charting utilized in the unit.
• Provides emotional support to patients & their families/significant others.
• Assists with the rehabilitation of patients according to the nursing care plan.
• Provides for the physical comfort & safety of the patient.

Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse in NYS
• At least 2 years experience as an LPN in a healthcare settings
