Our client is a well-regarded financial services firm in Manhattan seeking a Senior HR Generalist to add to the team.
The Associate/AVP will handle key human resources tasks, including hiring, onboarding new employees, conducting background checks, and assisting with various projects. They will also help implement and advise on company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
- Help assess the company’s staffing needs and review job applications and descriptions.
- Understand hiring laws and ensure compliance.
- Manage the hiring process from posting job ads to screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and recommending candidates.
Onboarding:
- Lead the onboarding process by conducting presentations, collecting necessary documents, and ensuring compliance.
- Work with the Payroll team to maintain employee records.
- Review onboarding documents annually and update them as needed.
Compliance:
- Follow company policies and risk guidelines.
- Report any potential policy violations or legal concerns.
- Provide documents for audits as needed.
Requirements:
BA required
5 years of HR exp
Mandarian or Cantonese speaking is a plus
The annual base salary range is $90,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
