We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MD to join our healthcare team providing medical care to students in an Urgent Care setting at the Student Center of a renowned university located in Stony Brook, NY. You would be tasked with focusing on the well-being of students, providing comprehensive primary and preventative care, addressing mental and physical health concerns, and promoting healthy behaviors on campus.
This is a full time, M-F role offering up to $145/hour.
MD Duties Will Include:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
- Focus on the well-being of students, providing comprehensive primary and preventative care.
- Address mental and physical health concerns, and promote healthy behaviors on campus.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses, offer preventative care services like vaccinations.
- Work closely with counseling services, student affairs, and other campus departments to ensure a supportive and healthy environment for students.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Previous primary or urgent care experience preferred.
