Atlas Construction Services Group is looking for an experienced General Construction Services- Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. We are seeking candidates to take charge of dynamic commercial refresh, rebranding and retro-fit projects from inception to completion. This candidate will be the driving force behind successful project execution, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety while fostering collaboration among teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee commercial construction projects from project initiation to substantial completion.
- Develop project schedules, tracking progress with subcontractors, vendors, and field service teams to ensure deadlines are met.
- Negotiate contracts, ensuring terms align with project goals and business requirements.
- Oversee procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- The Project Manager will also support executives, customers, and vendors as needed
- Facilitate communication among all stakeholders, including clients, architects, and internal teams.
- Additional responsibilities include tracking and reporting project progress, ensuring high-quality customer perceptions, and maximizing profitability while maintaining service quality.
- The role requires knowledge of time management, problem-solving, inventory management, and a comprehensive understanding of national program pricing standards.
Qualifications:
- Project Management Experience in retail, restaurant or other types of commercial construction verticals: 3-5 years
- Possess diverse and strong personal skills and abilities in multiple trades of construction.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and industry standards.
- Must have understanding regarding all construction services matter including but not limited to specifications, plans, construction documents, codes, etc.
- Exceptional level of knowledge specific to all software programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Construction Management Software, Excel, Estimating Software, Outlook and Smartsheet
- Strong communication (written/verbal), time management and people skills
- Bachelor’s degree (project management, engineering or other relevant degree preferred)
