Position Summary:
We’re currently seeking a Production Coordinator to join our North Carolina operations team. This role plays a key part in aligning production activities with project requirements, enhancing workflow efficiency, and serving as a liaison between departments. You’ll help ensure daily priorities are met, schedules are optimized, and production runs as smoothly as possible. Core Duties:
- Coordinate and distribute daily production priorities across departments.
- Act as the communication link between Project Management and Production, especially for urgent and high-impact projects.
- Adjust and manage production schedules to meet shifting timelines and optimize output.
- Assist with the transition and ongoing use of our Epicor ERP system (replacing Made2Manage).
- Balance work assignments across shifts to maintain consistent productivity levels.
- Conduct quality inspections on completed signage to ensure they meet company standards before shipment.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Prior experience with ERP software systems; familiarity with Epicor is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Able to work independently and within cross-functional teams
- Manufacturing or production industry experience preferred
- Thrive under pressure in fast-moving work environments
