Now Hiring: Folding Gluing Assistant
Location: Hutchinson, MN
Shift: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM, Monday - Wednesday, with every other Thursday for overtime
Pay: $18 hr
Employment Type: Full Time, trial to hire!
About this Opportunity:
Atlas Staffing partnered with a leading U.S. packaging company known for its high-end, sustainable, customized graphic paperboard and folding carton products.
In this role, you will stack, organize, and palletize finished products. You will also support the folder/gluer machine by loading paper products, stripping excess material, reading job tickets, assembling shipping containers, and making labels for packing cartons. This is an entry-level position, perfect for reliable and ready-to-learn individuals.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Set up and adjust the machine for production runs of different carton shapes, ensuring proper folding and glue adhesion.
- Conduct quality checks to comply with the quality system, record run data, and maintain an accurate timesheet.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the folder-gluer machine and the gluing and detection system.
What makes you a great fit:
- Has outstanding problem-solving abilities and a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Experience as a folding or gluing machine operator in printing is preferred.
