SUMMARY : The CNC Lathe Set-up Person is responsible for following prescribed standards of CNC operations, set-ups of prototype and established processes, meeting cycle times, promoting on time delivery through their performance efforts, demonstrating knowledge and application of lean manufacturing, promoting teamwork through their behavior, acting in accordance with company's policies and adhering to the goals and expectations as defined by management.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Follows the procedures set forth in the work instructions or by the Supervisor(s) and / or Lead(s)
- Follows prescribed standards of CNC Lathe operations and set-ups of established processes
- Pays strong attention to detail, exhibits critical thinking skills and meets set cycle times
- Sets up equipment to run production
- Takes an active role in organizing and improving current processes through SWI change suggestions
- Is proactive in maintaining established company policies and manufacturing strategies
- Builds and maintains positive rapport, communication and behavior with other employees, customers and / or suppliers
- Adapts and modifies as circumstances warrant
- Demonstrates safe work habits
- Inspects product according to Quality Policies and Procedure
- Embraces Quality Policy to ensure quality to internal and external customers
- Embraces vision, core values, and expected behaviors

Wage : $24.00 – $27.00 / hr. DOE
Shift : Monday-Thursday, 2 : 30 PM to 1 : 00 AM (Hours May Change)
