Atlas Tech is seeking a DevOps Engineer for an effort to provide systems engineering and integration of Naval Messaging software systems.
This is an Onsite position located in beautiful, North Charleston, SC
Pay Range : $75,000 - $105,000 depending on experience
You Will :
- Provide knowledge in systems engineering and information technology related to DevOps
- Architect and develop solutions to solve problems and implement enhancements
- Investigate and resolve issues that span multiple applications / technologies and require involvement from technical personnel across multiple groups
- Develop and / or revise system designs and architectures to improve efficiency, stability, effectiveness, supportability, and sustainability
- Design, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines for integration and deployment
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize workflows and enhance software delivery
- Plan and manage team activities across sprints
- Be responsible for automating and streamlining operations / processes
- Provide feedback on internal processes and recommendations for improvement
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related taskings as needed
- Provide technical analysis integral to enterprise automation solutions for large systems
- Provide in-depth research and analysis of issues and new technologies
- Prepare technical briefs to present to engineering review teams
- Provide technical knowledge to support and maintain IT enterprise products
You Have :
U.S. CitizenshipA minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or be able to obtain an interim security clearance prior to hire dateDoD 8140\8570 Certifications to be qualified as an Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II5 years of DevOps experience in an engineer role overseeing complex IT infrastructureAutomated infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as CodeExperience with AWS EC2 and S3 building virtual instances and utilizing cloud storageExperience with Ansible Automation Platform development and maintenance (Projects, Templates, Workflows, Execution Environments, etc.)Experience with Ansible development (Inventories, Collections, Roles, Modules, Playbooks, etc.)Broad knowledge of DevOps products and tools for automationWorking knowledge and experience with Agile framework and ScrumDecomposed high level epics / features into prioritized stories and tasksAbility to effectively install, configure, and administer in a multi-system and / or multi-application environmentExperience with Microsoft PowerShell is critical as it is heavily leveraged to automate installation, configuration, hardening, and maintenance tasksExperience with other programming / scripting languagesKnowledge of Linux / Windows OS and networking from a system design perspectiveAbility to create and test virtualized environments (VMWare, OpenShift, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure) for development and testing procedures that are traceable to system requirementsWorking knowledge and experience of System Engineering processes and proceduresStrong documentation and oral communication skills to clearly communicate with all levels of users, engineers, managers, and organizationsAbility to work with others in a highly collaborative environmentSelf-Motivated, strong work ethic and commitment to qualityAbility to multi-task and balance multiple goals and prioritiesExperience with leading and mentoring junior staff while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment10 years of IT experienceObtain Sec Certification within 6 months of hireWe'd be Impressed if You Had :
