About the Role
As a Warehouse Associate at Zekelman Industries, Blyetheville, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient handling of steel tube and pipe products, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and accuracy in shipping and receiving operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, enjoys maintaining order and precision, and values attention to detail.

What You’ll Do
- Champions and enforces safe work practices – Ensures adherence to company policies and regulatory safety standards, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Prepares materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment – Organizes and ensures all materials are ready for shipment in compliance with company standards.
- Processes and fulfills orders from customers and internal teams – Fulfills orders accurately and in a timely manner to meet customer needs.
- Picks, packs, and stages orders – Verifies accuracy using scanning tools, ensuring correct items are packed for shipment.
- Loads shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers – Safely loads materials for transport, ensuring secure and proper handling.
- Receives, inspects, and processes incoming materials – Checks incoming materials for damage and reports discrepancies, ensuring inventory integrity.
- Replenishes warehouse stock and rotates inventory – Uses a reach truck or forklift to restock and manage inventory efficiently.
- Operates warehouse equipment – Uses forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walkie rider pallet jacks to move materials efficiently within the warehouse.
- Standardizes and optimizes shipping and receiving procedures – Streamlines processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in material handling.
- Performs additional duties as assigned – Assists with other warehouse operations as necessary.
- Regular, full-time onsite attendance is required – Ensures consistent and dependable presence to meet operational needs.
- 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in steel or tubing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic math skills – Ensures accuracy in order processing and inventory management.
- Strong communication skills – Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Problem-solving ability – Address challenges in warehouse operations quickly and effectively.
- High attention to detail – Maintains order accuracy and meets quality standards consistently.
