We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Atlas Terminal Company team as a Mobile Repair Technician! The Mobile Repair Technician is responsible for providing both on-site and in-shop maintenance and repair services to minimize vehicle downtime for clients. This role includes diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. In addition to on-site services, the technician will also perform in-shop repairs, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair semi-trucks and trailers, addressing issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components.
- Perform routine maintenance services, ensuring vehicles are safe and operational for clients.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections to identify mechanical problems and recommend effective solutions.
- Provide on-site and emergency roadside assistance, minimizing vehicle downtime for clients.
- Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to evaluate and repair vehicle systems efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including services performed and parts utilized.
- Communicate repair details, findings, and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Adhere to safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations during all maintenance and repair activities.
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in truck and trailer maintenance.

Qualifications
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in automotive technology preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience as a mechanic, with a focus on semi-trucks and trailers, and/or a combination of both education and experience are required.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.

- Must successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening to meet regulatory and safety requirements.
