Job Description
The Principal Scientist, Bioinformatics Data Science, is a critical contributor to data analytics and engineering focused on accelerating our R&D programs and expanding our FORCE therapeutic delivery platform. Working alongside biological, platform, and translational scientists, the Scientist will apply expertise in applied computational research, AI, and machine learning to extract insights from integrated clinical, ‘omics, and other data sets.
A successful candidate in this role is an experienced data scientist with a proven track record in applying cutting-edge, advanced computational methods to drive innovative drug discovery and development. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a wide variety of data analytics and engineering approaches.
The candidate brings a data-driven mindset to assemble, integrate, and analyze diverse discovery, preclinical, and clinical data to drive next-generation delivery technologies and identify new therapeutic opportunities. As a computational subject-matter expert, the Scientist will work across the full life cycle of multiple drug discovery and development programs.
The Principal Scientist will be a core team member with a key role in growing and leading the Data Sciences function and will be responsible for representing Data Sciences internally and externally at senior leadership forums, at scientific conferences, and through peer-reviewed articles.
This is a full-time position based in Waltham, MA without the possibility of being remote.
