Company Address : 21 Hickory Drive, Suite 500, Waltham, MA, 02451About Sionna Therapeutics Dedicated to delivering therapies that could be transformational for people living with cystic fibrosis.Job Description Key Responsibilities : Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, including clinical trial agreements, manufacturing agreements, and vendor agreements, and oversee the work of the company’s contracts manager.Provide legal support on a variety of matters, including securities compliance and financings, corporate governance, and IP.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, identify legal issues and considerations, evaluate possible options and solutions, and provide recommendations so that business and legal objectives are met.Review publications, scientific and medical congress materials, clinical trial recruitment materials, etc.Participate in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures on an array of legal and compliance matters, and training employees on same.Handle other day-to-day legal matters and help manage external counsel supporting business needs.Experience, Education, and Qualifications : Must thrive working in a fast-paced environment and be excited about working on a wide range of legal and business matters at a growing company. Must have a demonstrated ability to identify and raise issues to key stakeholders, develop actionable plans and recommendations, and communicate complex issues in a straightforward way.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a nationally recognized law school and member of a state bar.5 years of relevant legal experience, including overseeing SEC reporting; in-house experience in the life sciences field is strongly preferred.Excellent contract drafting and negotiating skills, including proven experience with complex contracts.Excellent judgment and problem-solving abilities.Self-motivated problem solver who is adept at managing multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with limited oversight.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to effectively communicate legal risks to senior management and others.Strong interpersonal skills; must be a team player who can form great working relationships.Excitement about the mission and values of Sionna.#J-18808-Ljbffr
