The Opportunity
Our path into Sales Leadership is built to identify and develop exceptional sales talent who not only excel in sales but embody our mission, vision, and values. Over the course of 3-6 months, you'll experience a phased transition from outstanding individual producer to respected team leader, preparing you for a full-time Sales Leader role.
Phase 1: Leadership Criteria for Consideration
During the first three months, you'll be evaluated based on key leadership attributes to ensure you're ready for the challenge of leadership. The criteria include:
- Mission & Values Alignment: Consistently reflect our core values and company goals in every interaction.
- Team Contribution: Build trust and respect by positively influencing team dynamics.
- Sales Process Commitment: Master and rigorously follow our sales process, setting a high standard.
- Active Engagement: Fully participate in all team activities, meetings, and communication.
- Ethical Selling: Sell with integrity, setting realistic client expectations to ensure satisfaction.
- Top Performance: Consistently rank in the top 10% of producers for three consecutive months.
- Personal Growth: Complete assigned readings to boost personal and leadership development.
Phase 2: Sales Team Leader in Training (SMIT) Transition
Upon meeting the leadership criteria, you’ll embark on a three-month SMIT transition, gaining practical leadership experience and preparing for full-time leadership responsibilities. This includes:
- Month 4: Shadow our sales leader and complete Modules 1-4 of the SMIT Course, focusing on leadership fundamentals.
- Month 5: Co-lead the team, collaborating on performance tracking, while completing Modules 5-8 on team dynamics and metrics.
- Month 6: Transition to independent leadership with support, completing Modules 9-12 on advanced strategies and full leadership duties.
