Responsibilities
- Assist in building structures and frameworks according to project specifications.
- Perform door hanging tasks, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Engage in concrete finishing activities, including pouring, leveling, and smoothing surfaces.
- Support construction estimating processes by providing input on materials and labor needs.
- Utilize Bluebeam software for project documentation and collaboration when necessary.
- Carry out flooring installation tasks, ensuring precision and quality in the final product.
- Fabricate components as required for various construction projects.
- Operate hand tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Execute trim carpentry work, including installing moldings and other decorative elements.
- Assist with drywall installation and finishing to create smooth surfaces for painting or other finishes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with building techniques and materials is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and basic power tools safely.
- Ability to read blueprints and project plans is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
