Position Title: Sr. Business Analyst
Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term
- Understands business process management and business requirements of the customers and translates them to specific software requirements encompassing functional and non functional requirements.
- Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on both user needs and knowledge of systems/products.
- Establishes and maintains positive client business relationships across the organization, including guiding others in understanding client business, process, and solution implementation.
- Interacts with business teams for the requirement specification review and sign off.
- Acts as an interface between business units and Information Technology teams responsible for the development and enhancement of new/existing software products.
- Work with UI and UX teams to create design specs and develop visual and interaction designs specifying application workflows.
- Design and create mockups, prototypes, and documentation and workflow diagrams wherever required.
- Agile Experience : Epic & User Story creation, Ceremony facilitation. Familiar with JIRA and Confluence
- Independent/proactive attitude ability to work as proxy-PO
- Ability to translate ambiguous business ideas into clear technical requirement
- Ability to be flexible with working hours to support ever changing demands of the business
- Hands-on experience working directly with Dev & QA teams daily (e.g. story walk through, early feedback sessions, etc.)
- Technical Knowledge (Java/.net) is a plus to work seamlessly with project team
- Good Communication skills is a must
- Working Experience on JIRA is a must
- Basic SQL/Database knowledge
- Good knowledge on Visio/Draw.io is a plus
- Prior Development or QA experience is a bonus
- Knowledge and Experience in Port/Terminal operations is a bonus
