Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Servers to join our team. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences during events and functions. Your primary responsibilities will include serving food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with the bussing of tables, ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the event.
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in the breakdown of events by cleaning up dining areas and returning equipment to storage.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with catering services is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective guest interactions.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. continuously.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of guest service.
