We're looking for a skilled Hand Roll Maker to join our team and help us continue to deliver delicious, high-quality rolls.

Position Overview:
As a Hand Roll Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling hand rolls to meet the high standards of our restaurant. You’ll work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure the rolls are made to order with fresh, premium ingredients. We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual who has a passion for sushi and a strong sense of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare hand rolls with fresh ingredients, including fish, vegetables, and sauces.
• Ensure all hand rolls are prepared and presented with attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area, following all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely food preparation.
• Follow all company recipes, procedures, and quality standards.
• Ensure that inventory levels are maintained and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers are satisfied with their orders.
• Assist in other kitchen duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a sushi restaurant or similar food preparation role preferred.(not required)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
