At Atomic Transport, we take pride in being a leading local bulk hauling company based out of Chattanooga, TN with a dedicated fleet of company-owned assets and W2 driver employees that specialize in waste transportation from local transfer stations to landfills. With over twenty-five terminals operating locally throughout the Southeast and Midwest, if you are looking for a team to grow with, Atomic Transport is seeking an experienced Driver Trainer to be based out of our Las Vegas terminal with primary travel to Colorado Springs and Arizona. This position is an extension of the corporate safety department to ensure our employees within the assigned region are being adequately trained and performing all their duties in a manner that will keep everyone safe.
Qualifications:
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
- Must be able to travel
- No AT FAULT incidents, accidents, or injuries.
- Minimum of five years of CDL A driving experience.
- Thorough knowledge of the Smith System along with knowledge of DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations.
- Excel and Outlook experience required
Duties & responsibility of the role includes but is not limited to:
- Train and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.
- Assist with orientation for new hires to include the use of multiple safety and operational apps and platforms.
- Assist in the set up and roll out of new locations and terminals.
- Assist the Terminal and Area managers in various safety training and evaluations periodically.
- Understand and clearly communicate the company metrics for Samsara and the driver incentive program and teach drivers how to stay safe and compliant with these metrics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
