Summary:
Atomica is seeking a talented individual pursuing a career in technology sales. This is a unique opportunity to train under industry leaders and work alongside cutting-edge microfabrication technologies including MEMS, photonics, sensors, and biotechnology.
Reporting to the VP of World Wide Sales, you will be responsible for providing key technical support to customers to deliver innovative solutions by preparing foundry and engineering service quotations. This role requires someone with strong technical and interpersonal skills to work with customers as well as working cross-functionally with internal departments (Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and CTO)
Responsibilities:
- Provide front-end technical support on sales activities by generating technical objective documents, cost models and statements of work
- Evaluate and comprehend customer requirements, generate risk assessment, and deliver cost-benefit analysis
- Recommend and provide value propositions incorporating Atomica's technologies and unique capabilities
- Provide customer and technical insights and recommendations to key Atomica stakeholders.
- Share inputs from customers and the market to internal stakeholders
- Work and partner across sales, development, and operations
- Follow standard processes in Salesforce CRM applications
Requirements
- Familiarity with MEMS and/or semiconductor fabrication techniques, processes, equipment, capabilities and capacities
- Strong analytical and scientific-based problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior executives and technical audience
- Attention to detail with the ability to understand and accurately document relevant information for distribution
- A tolerance for ambiguity and ability to work in a fast-changing environment with an entrepreneurial approach
- High level Excel and CRM user
- ability to work onsite in Goleta, CA
Education/Experience
- Minimum BS (STEM required)
- 5 year minimum work experience
- 2 years experience working in wafer fab is a plus
- Technical sales or field application experience is a plus

Compensation:
($80,000 - $110,000 base) commission
