We're seeking a hands-on Principal Teleoperation Engineer skilled in hardware-software integration to build advanced teleoperation systems for humanoid robots. In this role you will tangible impact on how our robots are remotely controlled and operated in real-world environments.
Areas of Contribution:
- Hardware-Software Integration: Develop and integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components (sensors, actuators, embedded systems).
- Real-Time Control & Immersive Systems: Implement intuitive, real-time controls and immersive VR/AR experiences.
- Networking & Latency Optimization: Optimize low-latency networking protocols for robust teleoperation.
- Hands-On Development: Prototype, test, and debug systems with high-quality C /Python code.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with AI, robotics, and product teams for seamless integration.
- User Experience Focus: Continuously refine teleoperation interfaces based on real user feedback.
Qualifications:
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in teleoperation or related robotics systems.
- Deep knowledge of actuators, sensors, and embedded systems, including power management and signal conditioning.
- Solid understanding of real-time control theory, kinematics, dynamics, and sensor fusion.
- Proven experience integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components in robotics/teleoperation systems.
Nice-To-Haves:
- Expertise in real-time control systems, VR/AR technologies, networking protocols, prototyping, and real-world deployments.
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
