Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (or related subject) is required; advanced degree(s) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of teaching experience, ideally at the K-12 level.
- Desire to collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Passion for developing student interest in mathematics
- Interest in contributing to the school community outside of the classroom, as an athletic coach, student advisor, club leader, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design engaging lesson plans for Grade 9-12 students.
- Adopt innovative pedagogies, discussion-based learning, and project-based learning.
- Differentiate instruction based on students’ learning styles
- Encourage collaboration among students.
- Promote an inclusive classroom environment.
- Attend department and faculty meetings.
- Subscribe to the school's mission and philosophy
