**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities tailored to the needs of young children
- Provide individualized attention and tutoring to students as needed
- Establish and maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Manage student behavior and implement positive behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of care and learning
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents and guardians
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education
- Ensure compliance with state and national regulations regarding childcare and child welfare
**Qualifications:**
- 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field or CDA
- Experience working with young children, including toddlers and preschoolers
- Familiarity with Montessori methods and materials
- Proven classroom management and behavior management skills
- Strong educational background, with experience teaching in a private school setting
- Ability to educate and engage children in a variety of subjects, including literacy, math, science, and social studies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build strong relationships with parents and guardians
- Commitment to child welfare and ensuring the well-being of all students
