Job Summary/Objective
The individual applying for this position will be responsible for performing a variety of customer service-related duties for used and aftermarket parts. These duties include assisting the Used Parts Sales Team with eBay, E-Commerce, and TPI sales, answering sales-related phone calls, providing customers with estimates and options, assisting walk-in customers, looking up parts, creating work/sales orders, and selling Valley Truck Parts, Inc. parts and services. The role also involves capturing photos, uploading them, and responding to customer questions regarding Used Parts Sales.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Promote Valley’s products in a professional manner.
- Assist in the sales of products and/or services through eBay, E-Commerce, and TPI, meeting customer needs.
- Support used parts sales on the website through I-Track by taking pictures, updating, pricing, and providing descriptions.
- Collaborate with the salvage yard to sell used and aftermarket parts.
- Record and follow up on all sales and customer transactions.
- Use equipment and resources safely and proficiently.
- Perform a mixture of inside and outside work.
- Ability to pull some components for internet sales.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Basic computer and application skills.
- Effective listening and one-on-one communication skills.
- Ability to interpret customers’ needs.
- Good organizational skills.
